If you recently installed Internet Explorer 8, you may have noticed an annoying new “security warning” pop up when you access certain websites. It’s especially prominent on sites such as twitter, where one frequently clicks from page to page with variable layers in terms of security.
Here’s a link to a “fix” that allows mixed content from a security standpoint. Simple instructions with screenshots to illustrate.
Just keep in mind that this fix is a change to the general internet settings for your browser. So it will allow mixed content from any site.
